Snavi Privacy Policy

What this privacy policy covers

This privacy policy takes effect on 2026-09-07. It records how Hubei Jimingji Trading Co., Ltd., the controller, deals with personal information that actually reaches it in relation to Snavi. In this privacy policy, Snavi means the Google Play Android package a person uses as a private snack diary kept on that person's phone. The postal address of the controller is Room 101, No.136 Liudi Road, Yincheng Community, Junshui Town, Tongcheng County. A person may write to joestanteeconnrenek@gmail.com about anything set out here.

On that phone, a person may take a still of a snack, type what the snack is called, add a few words beside it, and, where wanted, keep a voice memo. The handset also stores a count of how many times snacks were saved against a calendar day. The diary does not plan a diet and it does not work out calories, because that count only shows how often an entry was saved. There is no social feed, because one person's snack is not shown to anyone else.

Minors must not use Snavi, and this snack diary is limited to an adult who has reached 18, which this notice also spells as eighteen. Saving a snack entry does not ask for a password screen, so no member profile is opened for that diary.

Nothing in this privacy policy describes a store other than Google Play, or a system other than Android.

What is lost if Camera or Microphone is refused

Snavi calls Camera or Microphone only after the person taps the control for that sensor while writing an entry. A refusal leaves words already typed where they were. The two controls are as follows.

Where the person already holds a picture of a snack, Snavi can open the Android Photo Picker so that existing picture may be attached. The Photo Picker is not a media permission, and choosing a picture there does not start Camera. Video capture is absent from Snavi, and so is any reading of location. A snack entry is a photograph or a voice memo about food.

What a snack entry keeps on the phone

A snack entry can hold a photograph, the words that name the snack, a brief remark, and a voice memo. For example, a person may keep a still of a rice cracker, type its name, add a remark that it was eaten after a train ride, and store a voice memo that names the stall. The day count on the same phone then shows that a snack was logged on that date.

On the phone, Snavi uses the still, the name, the remark, and any voice memo to show that snack entry again, and it uses the day count to show how frequently entries were saved on each date. Those snack files stay on the phone, so the controller has nothing of them to use.

In the language of the store form, the stills are Photos, the voice memo is Microphone audio, and the day count is App activity. Each of those stays on the phone.

There is no account-deletion flow, because the diary never opens a member record that could be closed.

Logging a snack does not charge a fee, because that function is already inside the diary installed from Google Play.

Snavi does not read an advertising identifier, because no advertisement is placed beside a snack entry.

This privacy policy is written to stay in line with the Google Play Data safety form for Snavi on collection, on sharing, on the purpose of processing, and on whether an item the form lists is required or optional. What the controller actually handles is mailbox correspondence and the logs described where a legal text is opened.

Why we process snack-diary mail that actually arrives

Where a person emails joestanteeconnrenek@gmail.com, the controller collects the personal information in that letter. Mailbox personal information means the address the message was sent from and the words the person wrote. The controller uses that personal information to answer the letter, to carry out a request to erase or to inspect what was received, and to keep a record of the reply.

When a person opens a linked legal text from inside Snavi, a hosting provider writes HTTPS server logs. The host uses those logs to send the chosen text back to the phone. That opening is the only path on which a request leaves the phone. Those texts are this privacy policy, the terms of use, and the children's notice.

When the GDPR applies, the legal basis for reading mailbox mail about this snack diary, and for the host's processing of those logs, is legitimate interest rather than performance of a contract, because that mail is correspondence about a privacy request and those logs allow the opened text to be served. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies where the person is in the European Union or the European Economic Area, or where that mail or those logs otherwise fall within its reach.

You are free to refer a complaint to a supervisory authority. Pick the authority of your home Member State, your workplace Member State, or the Member State of the alleged infringement.

Data Protection Officer for diary correspondence

Hubei Jimingji Trading Co., Ltd. has no separately named Data Protection Officer. Letters that would otherwise be addressed to such an officer should be sent to joestanteeconnrenek@gmail.com. The controller will treat those letters as privacy correspondence about the snack diary.

Who receives a copy and in which scene

The scene in which a copy leaves is the opening of a linked legal text, and the party that receives the related logs is the host. The host processes those logs so that the chosen text can be delivered.

Where a statute or a court order requires the controller to disclose a letter it has received, the controller discloses only the personal information that the statute or the order demands.

Personal information written into a snack entry is not moved outside the country where the phone is used, because the entry stays on the phone. The only movement across a border is the HTTPS request made when a legal text is opened, and that request is handled by the host.

Hubei Jimingji Trading Co., Ltd. does not sell personal information. Write joestanteeconnrenek@gmail.com to opt out of selling. The same address accepts a do-not-sell request, and the controller notes that the message arrived. The controller does not share a snack entry with any recipient, because the entry stays on the phone, and the only logs shared are those in the hands of the host.

How mailbox files of a snack diary are guarded

The request for a legal text travels by HTTPS. Transport encryption on that path protects the text while it moves between the phone and the host.

Access to joestanteeconnrenek@gmail.com is limited to people who handle correspondence for the controller. The controller does not publish a claim that the mailbox cannot fail, because mail systems can be misused; if a person believes a letter about a snack diary has been exposed, that person may write to the same mailbox and the controller will look into the report.

A snack entry sits in the phone's own storage. The controller does not operate that storage and does not assert that it is proof against loss, theft, or a wipe, because the still and the voice memo never reach the controller.

How long records last

A photograph, the words that name a snack, a brief remark, a voice memo, and the day count remain on the phone until the person uninstalls Snavi or clears the application's storage.

Letters sent to the mailbox are kept for as long as the controller needs them to answer the person and to hold a record of the answer. The controller aims to reply within 15 business days. Those logs remain with the host for the period the host needs in order to operate the pages, and the host deletes them on its own schedule.

How to delete, take a copy, correct, and look up

A person may ask the controller to erase personal information it actually received by emailing joestanteeconnrenek@gmail.com. The controller will erase the letter and the reply it holds, subject to any statute that requires a copy of that correspondence to be kept. The controller cannot erase a snack entry that never left the phone, because that file is removed only when the person uninstalls Snavi or clears storage.

A person may ask for a portable copy of the personal information the controller holds. In practice that copy is the text of mailbox correspondence about the snack diary, and the request goes to the same mailbox. The controller does not assemble a portable copy of stills or voice memos, because those files are not in its hands.

A person may request correction, which this privacy policy also calls rectification, where personal information the controller holds is inaccurate or incomplete. The person emails joestanteeconnrenek@gmail.com and describes what is wrong or missing. The controller shall answer that request within 15 business days. Correction applies to letters the controller received. A snack name that exists only on the phone is changed by the person on that phone.

A person may ask to access personal information the controller holds. The controller can show the letters it received from that person. Those logs sit with the host and are not a file the controller can open under the person's name. Where the person wants processing of a particular letter to be restricted, or objects to the use of legitimate interest for that letter, the same email is the route, on the timetable already stated.

Short notes for California and Virginia

The California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act apply to a California resident. A California resident may email joestanteeconnrenek@gmail.com to ask whether personal information is collected or shared, and from that reply the resident may know whether either step has taken place. Snavi does not share personal information for advertising, because a snack entry stays on the phone and the diary places no advertisement on the entry. The no-sale statement above, and the same mailbox, are how a California resident may refuse a sale.

Under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, targeted advertising, a sale of personal information, and profiling do not take place in Snavi, because the diary keeps each snack entry on the phone and shows no advertisement on the entry. A Virginia resident uses joestanteeconnrenek@gmail.com for the same sale request described above.

Adults, children, and a later edition

Snavi, being a private record of snacks a person chooses to log, is not designed for children. The Google Play listing and the screens inside the diary are not marketed to children. The way a person names a snack and looks back at a day count is not aimed at children. Snavi has no child-focused features. The day count, the typed snack name, and a voice memo are tools for recording a snack, not a game or a lesson built for a young audience. A parent or guardian may email joestanteeconnrenek@gmail.com to request access, deletion, and stopping processing of children's information the controller actually received.

Personal information from anyone under 18 is not knowingly collected by the controller. The snack diary on the phone is an adult record. Where a letter shows that personal information the controller received came from a person under 18, the controller will delete what it received and will stop further processing of it.

Snavi does not take children's sensitive identifiers or biometric data, because a snack photograph and a voice memo are a picture and a sound of a snack, not an identifier of a child.

Where the controller replaces this privacy policy, the replacement will carry a later effective date and will be shown when the privacy policy link is opened inside Snavi. Use of the diary after that date is use under the replacement.
